Your Path to Spiritual Development at Community Bible Church:

Here is a brief description of  FIVE PROGRESSIVE LEVELS of involvement that form an intentional path for spiritual development for every member of our church.  You are encouraged to prayerfully consider where God wants you involved.

CORE LEVEL

Every Member Moving

Toward Maturity

It is our desire that everyone completes these core level opportunities for spiritual development.

1.  Regular Attendance.  A consistent level of attendance at the public services at CBC which demonstrates one’s desire to make this their church family.

Hebrews 10:24-25  “...let us consider how to stimulate one another to love    and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another;  and all the more as you see the  day drawing near.”

2.  “CBC 101” Class.  Every potential member should attend this class to learn about how our local church functions. This class introduces the doctrine, structure and purpose of CBC.

3.  First Principles Small Group Studies.  While there are a number of other small group opportunities at CBC, this is a foundational set of Bible studies that provides a common path for every member of our church to lay a common foundation for a lifetime of spiritual growth and ministry.  This series is a set of 9 six-session Bible study guides used in a small group setting.  This series systematically leads participants in firmly establishing their faith and on to deeper commitment.
