Missions Involvement

Below is information about how you can be involved in missions at CBC.

Involvement with Missionaries

You can continue with the furtherance of the gospel with those sent out, standing with them as they have need by:
1. Keeping informed of their activities and needs.
2. Sharing monetary support.
3. Holding them up in prayer.
4. Writing and encouraging them.
5. Helping to send leaders to visit, evaluate and encourge them.
6. Helping to bring them back for rest and reporting (Acts 14:26-27).

Involvement with Missions in General

Additionally, for missions in general, you can become involved by:
1. Learning about the importance of missions in the local church.
2. Reading biographies of historic missionaries (ask one of the CBC librarians).
3. Encouraging others in prayer and support for missionary efforts.
4. Praying and asking God how He might use you.
5. Being open to God's calling in whatever way He leads.
