Below are missions related projects supported by CBC.
Shoebox Gifts for Cannon Ball Kids
This year we have the opportunity to send shoebox gifts to the children at the Standing Rock Reservation in North/South Dakota, for ages 2-4, 5-9 and 10-14 years. Use the labels available through the weblink below when preparing your gift. Please following the same guidelines found in the brochure for the Operation Christmas Child shoebox gifts.
Please DO NOT INCLUDE: old or damaged items, LIQUIDS, guns or war related toys, food, glass items. Also please be culturally sensitive and avoid "cowboy & Indian" type things. Because the Cannon Ball kids speak English and the boxes will not be in a warm climate, there are several things that CAN be included in the Cannon Ball shoebox gifts, (that would not be appropriate for the OCC shoebox gifts that go overseas), such as:
*Chocolate (YUM!)
*Books: Please be culturally sensitive. There are many fine Christian and secular books that are appropriate. Riddle books, "clean joke" books, nature and adventure books are also popular for the boys. Girls enjoy fiction and books about animals and horses.
