AT COMMUNITY BIBLE CHURCH
We Embrace God through the Gospel of Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.
We Equip the body to live out the Gospel in all areas of life.
We Engage the church, the community, and the world with the hope and power of the Gospel.
WE GATHER EACH WEEK TO
WORSHIP, CONNECT, STUDY, AND GROW.
WORSHIP SERVICE AT 9:30AM
Children's Church begins immediately after the congregational singing.
Nursery and mothers' room available.
Our Adult EQUIP Courses are intended to do just that: equip the church for Gospel-centered life and ministry. EQUIP courses meet on Sunday mornings at 11:00 am during the school year.
Learning & Living Courses include Old and New Testament overviews, discipleship essentials, spiritual disciplines, worldview, stewardship, and marriage and parenting.
Living & Leading Courses include teachings of Jesus, missional living, New Testament discipleship, shepherding and group leadership, soul care, and theology and history.
The Gospel Project Course emphasizes the Gospel story, its impact on culture, and its outworking in mission. Offered as a compliment to the Children's Sunday School curriculum to encourage whole-family discussion and engagement.
In addition to EQUIP Courses, we offer CBC 101, our new members class, on a regular and as-needed basis. This is a great way to get to know CBC and connect with church leaders and other newcomers. For information on CBC 101, please contact Pastor Dennis.
Our small groups ministry is one of the main vehicles of connecting and disciple-making at CBC. As people come together in a safe place to honestly share life, interact over the Scriptures, and care for each other, spiritual growth and discovery happen. That's what a growth group is all about.
But it doesn’t end there.
Growth Groups tangibly display the love of Christ and the power of the Gospel by serving in the community and reaching out to neighbors, family, and friends.

INFANTS & TODDLERS
Our amazing volunteers love spending time with our infants and toddlers. We know it's important for parents to enjoy their Sunday morning knowing their kids are well cared for. The infant and toddler nurseries are available during Sunday School and Worship services each Sunday. Ages 0 - 2 1/2.
For nursing mothers or mothers of young children, we offer a cry room off the back of the sanctuary.
Sunday School is a great opportunity for children and students ages 2-1/2 through high school to grow in their knowledge and understanding of gospel-centered principles. Our teachers are passionate and dedicated to their students' learning and spiritual development. Currently, all grade levels are working through The Gospel Project, a Christ-centered, chronological Bible study curriculum. Sundays at 11:00 am.
It is our desire here at CBC to minister to the spiritual needs of all ages of our church family. We offer a weekly Children’s Church ministry for those ages 4 through Kindergarten during our regular Worship Service. This is held in Room 3 during the sermon and begins immediately following congregational singing. Participating children receive instruction and activities appropriate for their age level.
For those younger than 4 years of age, we offer regular nursery services during our Worship service.
On Wednesday evenings during the school year, the church building is full of energy and excitement as children ages preschool through sixth grade engage the Scripture, memorize the Word, and apply gospel truths in a fun environment. We offer three AWANA Clubs: Cubbies (preschool), Sparks (grades K-2), and T&T (grades 3-6). AWANA at CBC is open to all.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Each summer, we offer a week-long Vacation Bible School at the church for children ages preschool through sixth grade. It's a great opportunity to enjoy games, crafts, stories, and teaching around the Bible and God's redemptive work in the world. The 2019 VBS theme is The Incredible Race: One Family, One Race, One Savior by Answers in Genesis.

WHO WE ARE
The MVCBC Youth Group is made up of 7th-12th grade students who are in various stages of walks with Christ. We are an inclusive group of believers who want to grow daily in our relationships with Jesus. Our desire is to see students fall deeply in love with Jesus Christ.
We exist to help students Embrace God, Equip to live and serve, and Engage others.
We strive to dig deep into the Scriptures to help students develop a sense of awe of God as they read about His amazing works and His profound love for them.
We offer wild, crazy, and fun events to help develop friendships and camaraderie where spiritual growth can happen and Biblical truths can be spoken into their lives.
We send students into their communities and around the world so that they can see how big and amazing God is as well as helping them develop a heart that loves God, His people, and the nations.
Students are welcome here! At CBC, we love college students and college-age adults and desire to serve and support them during this time of rich personal and spiritual growth. During the school year, we offer a Sunday School class specifically for college students and college-age adults on Sundays at 11 am (breakfast provided). We also offer free rides from Cornell's Thomas Commons each Sunday morning at 9:00. In addition, we actively engage Cornell student groups such as Deep Water, FCA, and Eyes of the World.
