Equip Classes



Our Adult Equip Courses are intended to do just that: equip the church for Gospel-centered life and ministry. We offer Equip courses at various times throughout the year as needs and opportunities arise. Recent Equip courses include:

  • Financial Peace
  • Visionary Parenting
  • Biblical Counseling Foundations
  • Old Testament Walk-Thru

In addition to Equip Courses, we offer CBC 101, our new members class, on a regular and as-needed basis. This is a great way to get to know CBC and connect with church leaders and other newcomers. For information on CBC 101, please contact Pastor Dennis.

Growth Groups



Our small groups ministry is one of the main vehicles of connecting and disciple-making at CBC. As people come together in a safe place to honestly share life, interact over the Scriptures, and care for each other, spiritual growth and discovery happen. That's what a Growth Group is all about.


But it doesn’t end there.


Growth Groups tangibly display the love of Christ and the power of the Gospel by serving in the community and reaching out to neighbors, family, and friends.

Children's Ministry



From Sunday morning nursery care to Sunday Children's Church to our Wednesday Encounter program to our annual summer Vacation Bible School, we love teaching kids about the Bible and God's redemptive work in the world!


Children's Church: Sunday mornings during the sermon. Open to 4 years old through first grade.


Encounter: Wednesdays during the school year, 6:00-7:45pm. Open to preschool through fifth grade. Features curriculum by Hyfi Kids. Please contact the Office for more info.


VBS: We offer a summer weeklong VBS program open to preschool through fifth grade. VBS material is published by Answers in Genesis. See the events page for dates and registration.

Youth Ministry



The MVCBC Youth Group is made up of 6th-12th grade students who are in various stages of walks with Jesus Christ. Our desire is to see students fall deeply in love with Jesus Christ. We strive to dig deep into the Scriptures. We have a lot of fun. We go into our community and the world with the love of Christ.

College Ministry



Students are welcome here! At CBC, we love college students and college-age adults, desiring to serve and support them during this time of rich personal and spiritual growth. In addition, we actively serve Cornell student groups such as Deepwater and FCA.

A few international ministries that we serve include Operation Christmas Child, For the Nations Refugee Outreach in Dallas, Delhi Bible Fellowship, Wycliffe Bible Translators, Samaritan's Purse, Global Health Outreach, and Live-Dead in the Middle East.

Biblical Counseling



At CBC, we believe that the Spirit of God, as we understand and apply the Word of God, guides suffering and struggling people toward healing, restoration, repentance, and maturity in Christ. The goal of biblical counseling is to compassionately facilitate this process.
